Our History

Founded in 1967 by Visionary Sri S. C. Mullick

Pressels Private Limited was built as a name synonymous with trust in boiler manufacturing and retrofit solutions. Over 50 years ago, we began as a small-scale unit in Cuttack, Odisha. But our vision was never small.

Our founder, Sri S. C. Mullick—an experienced, highly qualified gold medalist and technical entrepreneur—saw that Indian industries faced highly fluctuating fuel supplies and unique operational conditions. Rather than importing rigid, high-maintenance configurations, he pioneered adaptive thermal engineering designs suited directly for Indian conditions.

1967

Commenced Boiler Production

Initialized operations in Cuttack, Odisha. Assembled a core team of dedicated engineers focused on domestic industrial engineering and import substitution.

1989

DNES Solar Energy Boiler Milestone

Commissioned as the sole manufacturer of a prototype Solar Energy Boiler for the Department of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (DNES), Govt. of India. The prototype successfully generated 60 KW Power, establishing Pressels as a pioneer in alternative renewable energy systems.
